Watch Rihanna And Stephen Colbert Tease The Grammys And Super Bowl

She’s Worth The Wait

by daniel barna

With her hugely anticipated album Anti set to drop any moment (we hope), it looks like Rihanna will be hitting the stage in the very near future. In fact, based on a new promo for Super Bowl 50 and the Grammys, the next live performance from RiRi could come as soon as February 15, when the awards show airs on CBS.

In the clip, the pop star goes head to head with NFL analysts Phil Simms, Jim Nantz, and James Brown in a coin toss moderated by none other than Stephen Colbert. When Nantz tells Rihanna that the Super Bowl will air before the Grammys, Rihanna says the one thing we've all been thinking: "I’m worth the wait.”

Meanwhile, the singer is busy shooting Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, an ambitious sci-fi thriller form visionary director Luc Besson due later this year. On Sunday, Besson took to Twitter to praise the singer for her acting skills. “She is a natural born actress,” Besson wrote. “Thank you RiRi for this wonderful week.”

The year of Rihanna is officially upon us.
