Rituals Of Mine Are “Devoted” To Demanding Your Attention
Take a seat, this one hits hard
Terra Lopez and Dani Fernandez are a force in the electronic music scene, who have the ability to pack their tracks with hard-hitting beats and even heavier lyrics that scream to be heard. Today, we're premiering Rituals of Mine's music video for their latest single, “Devoted.”
Lopez told us that the video is meant to showcase the "raw, pure, uninhibited elements" that they incorporate into their live shows. "Performing is such therapy for me, and we wanted to capture that—me in a room, screaming and singing, which has always been my way of dealing with pain," she says. "It was important to us to introduce our live show's passion and intensity, and I think we scratched the surface here with that. This video shows the pain, the manic energy, the cathartic elements of our music and how it resonates with me on stage."
Fernandez and Lopez worked with French Press Films in Oakland, California, to execute their vision. The result is something dark and minimal but deeply profound. Rituals of Mine's Ride Or Die album is out now. Watch the video unfold, below.
