solange babysat blue ivy

and brought her to moca

by Yasmeen Gharnit

Solange, purveyor of all things artistic, creative, and indie, babysat her three-year-old niece yesterday: Blue Ivy. And seeing as it wouldn't be a real Knowles hangout without the promise of a few photos, the singer/artistic director brought Blue and her son Julez Smith to the Museum of Contemporary Art, a place where well-received minimalist Instagrams are born.

The art installations might be a bit complex for a typical toddler, but Blue is far from typical. She's romped around the Louvre during a private showing, is capable of playing into others' greatest desires with super-cute compliments, and, most obviously, is the daughter of one of the world's most powerful couples. In all likelihood, she probably knows more about Willem de Kooning and Franz Kline than most adults. And we can only imagine how delightful she found director Kahlil Joseph's Double Conscience exhibition.
