Every weekend, we bring you #SOUNDCHECK—your new destination for the best of the best new music that hit the web over the course of the week. Because you should always be prepared when someone passes you that AUX cord. This week’s round features 10 of our favorite emerging and established artists including Jaden Smith, Dashboard Confessional, and so many more. Turn up, tune in, and tune out.

"Save That Shit" - Lil Peep

Less than a month since Lil Peep's death, Gustav Åhr's mom released the long-anticipated video for "Save That Shit." It's a humbling experience, watching this now, but it feels like an important one.

"My Obsession" - Pale Waves

A goth Lars and the Real Girl? We'll take it.

"We Fight" - Dashboard Confessional

Political pop-punk is a thing and it is glorious. For their first album in eight years, Crooked Shadows, Dashboard is turning their sights on what's happening across the world, Trump-included. "We Fight" is their battle-cry. You in?

"Something Bout Our Love" - JONES

Well, dress us up and take us out to the finest dance floor. JONES is here serving up silhouettes, gloss, and Pantone with "Something Bout Our Love." Yes!

"George Jeff" - Jaden Smith

What's better, the song itself or the unreal sunset in the background of this video? Let us know.

"No Limit REMIX (feat. A$AP Rocky, Cardi B, French Montana, Juicy J, & Belly)" - G-Eazy

These gaggle of rappers manage to throw the coolest, raunchiest warehouse party of all time. There's also a throne made of cash for A$AP Rocky, which really tops that Game of Thrones version.

"Don't Play It Safe" - Cassie

Cassie releases new music when she feels like it, but when she does, it's always a treat. "Don't Play It Safe" has that lounge vibe that pairs wonderfully with a champagne buzz and flirtations.

"Awful Things" - Good Charlotte

Good Charlotte pays tribute to Lil Peep with a cover of Peep's song, "Awful Things," which they originally performed at Lil Peep's memorial service. Lil Peep's grandmother, Jenny Kastner, was there and said, "He is the first and only Lil Peep, and arguably left behind a legacy that will have a far greater impact. His kindness will live on through lots of people."

"Electric Heart" - Tofer Dolan

"I Love College" rapper Asher Roth returned home, started teaching music, and reunited with producer Oren Yoel for a new side-project called Tofer Dolan. "Electric Heart" is their debut single, packing a blissed-out electronic production and lyrics that are decidedly less about partying and more focused on empowerment. How very humbling.

Obviously, Cardi B's new song is unabashedly her. This single has her rapping about her newfound wealth and her recent engagement to Migos' Offset. You'll want to rap along to this one.
