saoirse ronan, stella mccartney, and doughnuts!

The Checklist Curator: Liza Darwin

The Look:

Saoirse Ronan at the

How I Live Now

premiere

Soairse Ronan has been my celebrity spirit animal for years now, but the Mary Katranzou frock the actress sported in 2013 is basically the stuff my outfit dreams are made of. Mostly because it's pure graphic perfection--and topped off with a deep purple lip, the look is feminine with a decidedly badass, gothy edge. The perfect juxtaposition, if you ask me.

The Face:

Balenciaga Rosabotanica Perfume

Floral but not

too

floral, feminine but not overly sweet, I think I've just found my newest favorite perfume. Bonus: it looks really, really good on any dresser....so use sparingly.

The News:

The best doughnut spots revealed. Ever.

Yesterday might've been National Pancake Day (and Fat Tuesday), but I just got way more excited about this list of the best doughnut spots in America. I'm making it a personal goal to hit up most of them before I die. Join me? Oh, and if they missed any, leave suggestions on our Facebook!

The Inspiration:

Stella McCartney fall '14

If the cozy sweaters and platform oxfords aren't enough to persuade you to jump right into Stella McCartney's world, then the final walk-slash-dance party, starring Cara Delevingne and Joudarn Dunn, should do it. Between these BFFs and Bill Cunningham snapping all the action, Fashion Week has never looked so fun.

The Song:

"There She Goes" by The La Las.

Full disclosure: this song will always remind me of

The Parent Trap,

and that's not a bad thing! Especially on a Monday morning, we can all use that giddy feeling that Hallie (disguised as Annie, remember?) has when she's exploring around London

in this clip.
