Frances Bean Cobain's fiancee, Isaiah Silva, has a new band called The Eeries. So far, they've only released one song, "Cool Kid," an aspirational track meant for the outsiders, filled with drawn-out garage band-turned-big vocals and fuzzy Weezer-type instrumentals. And it's good...like really good. Listen below. (Spin)

Chloe Grace Moretz will voice the title character in the upcoming animated film, The Tale of The Princess Kaguya. The film is slated for an October 17 release. Watch the trailer below. (EW)

The trailer for Disney's latest animated film, Big Hero 6, is here! Stars include Maya Rudolph, T.J. Miller, and Jamie Chung. Watch the teaser below. (Deadline)

According to David Bowie, he'll be releasing new music "soon." No word on exactly when "soon" is, but he announced his latest album release, The Next Day, only a few days before the LP hit stores. Oh, and he also urged everyone to "dance, dance, dance" and to "knit something" in the same statement. We expect knitting dance parties to become a thing. (Stereogum)

Brooks Wheelan will not return to Saturday Night Live next season. Tear. (Deadline)

Brooklyn band The Drums released their first new song in three years, "Magic Mountain." The indie-pop track, filled with crisp yelps and creepy guitar flexes, begs you to flounce about your room, or you know, in a rollercoaster car the next time Space Mountain breaks down. Listen below. (NME)
