In an industry where artists feel the need to supplement their careers with headline-oriented occurances, to say that Tinashe stands apart would be an understatement. Since releasing her debut album, Aquarius, the 22-year-old has first and foremost focused on showcasing her music— not on making it onto every red carpet and social media roundup. And it's worked in her favor.
Her latest video, "Bet," stands testament to this. The bare-bones video, shot "somewhere in Los Angeles," shows Tinashe dancing in a tunnel and parking garage. A lot of musicians wouldn't be able to pull it off, but then again, not a lot of them are furthering the sonic landscape like Tinashe.
