Tinashe Responds To Awful Human Chris Brown’s Diss After Defending Kehlani

Well that escalated quickly

Chris Brown just can't seem to keep his foot out of his mouth. The singer took aim at his former collaborator Tinashe, after the rising R&B star unfollowed Brown on Twitter for blasting Kehlani over her recent suicide attempt. "They called and needed my help, not the other way around. I’ve been around for a bit, so these ‘celebrities’ fade out musically if they aren’t original or let’s face it, actually talented,” Brown wrote on Instagram.

In an interview with San Francisco hip-hop station KMEL, Tinashe tried to downplay her feud with Brown, who appears on her latest single "Player."

"I felt like it was just so unnecessary," Tinashe said when Brown’s post came up. "I just think it's silly. Petty… It's not even worth it, it’s not a big deal to me. I don’t think that follows on Twitter are a big deal. If I see him, I would love to speak to him. I would love if he would reach out. I have absolutely nothing against him. We’re on good terms, as far as I knew."

If you thought Brown would leave it at that, well, you obviously don’t know Chris Brown. Instead of squashing the beef, he once again took to Instagram and doubled down. In a since deleted post, Brown screengrabbed a headline from a story about Tinashe's unfollow and slammed the singer, writing: "I hope they rehearsing for those performance (power 106 charity basketball game halftime show) give her credit though, 30 16 year old hobbit face ass. WE WANT MUSIC, WE WANT MUSIC, WE WANT MUSIC!! TEACH ME HOW TO JERK FACE ASS.”

When “Player” and its accompanying video, in which she and Brown get a little too close for comfort, was released, Tinashe faced a heap of criticism for collaborating with someone with a history of violence against women. She responded by saying that it wasn't her choice to work with Brown, and that their label forced them together.
