Before November, Tinder users swiped right or left based mainly on a quick sizing up of a profile photo, but recently, they added the ability for people to also include job and education to their profiles, giving potential matches more to consider before making their fateful decision. Since the addition, Tinder's been compiling data and has now given us their results on what jobs are swiped right on the most, for both men and women.
While it's certainly not a surprise that model appeared on the list for both genders, we are pleasantly surprised by other professions sitting at the top. For women, physical therapist, founder/entrepreneur, and pharmacist all broke the top 10, while for the men, careers like firefighter, engineer, and teacher all had rank. An even nicer surprise, model sits closer to the bottom for both sides, showing that just maybe, we're not all as shallow as we think, and are choosing brains over beauty. Speech-language pathologist? Ooh, sexy!
Sadly, cat lady did not make the list, so we'll just be sitting here alone with Fluffy and Netflix, waiting for that perfect swipe right.
