The "Pokemon Go" frenzy this summer was intense. The tech world tapped into a clear nostalgia for the popular '90s game, and boy did fans react accordingly. Though the excitement has died down significantly, along with the themed products, there was still one industry it had yet to infiltrate successfully, until now.
Popular Korean beauty brand Tony Moly has released a collection of Pokemon-inspired beauty items, and they’re exactly what we didn’t know our haul was missing. The lineup includes Charmander and Pikachu sheet masks, red-hued lip tints, eight different hand creams, and foam cleansers and face creams for various skin concerns. All of which would add some fun and color to your weekly beauty flat lay.
Judging from the Reddit Asian Beauty thread, some K-beauty fans are disappointed in the presentation of the products. Tony Moly is known for their cute, inventive packaging, after all. A Pokeball-shaped moisturizer would’ve been nice, or a Jiggly Puff-shaped bottle. Beggars can’t be choosers, though, and it definitely doesn’t take one ounce away from our excitement.

According to Tony Moly’s Instagram page, it looks like more surprises are also on the way (or already available, just not for purchase in the U.S.), including a Pikachu mascara and blush, a Digda peel off mask, a Jiggly Puff eyeshadow palette, and compact, along with nail polish and what looks like lip balm. Gotta buy ‘em all.
