Our Favorite Looks From Tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards

The more skin, the better

by Jenna Igneri

If you’re someone who religiously follows award show red carpets like we do, you’ll know that the VMAs bring us some of the most exciting fashion of the entire awards ceremony circuit. Tonight’s show was certainly no exception to this rule.

Stars ditch gorgeous, formal attire you’d normally see at the Oscars and the Golden Globes for looks that are a little more fun, a little more creative, and, most of the time, a lot more daring. While this year’s red carpet definitely had a couple head-turning moments, it was definitely the year to show off what you got. From the naked jumpsuits worn by the likes of Halsey, Hailey Baldwin, and even Baddie Winkie (okay, hers wasn’t actually sheer) to Laura Perlongo’s naked baby bump and many other open-shirted/open-blazered attendees, showing a little skin was quite the trend this time around.

We rounded up our absolute favorite looks from the evening, showing love to all the ladies that slayed tonight. Click through the gallery below to check out our picks.
