Waterparks’ New Music Video Makes A Giant Technicolor Splash

Ah, the trials of new love. And not just any new love, but the all-encompassing kind that takes over your life and prevents you from getting pretty much anything else done. It's something many romantics long for, but, man, how exhausting. It takes a real warrior to find a balance between what the heart wants and what it actually needs.

Then again, that kind of attraction can drive a person crazy. Like the kind of crazy where you start hallucinating hands grabbing you while you nap or something. It sounds terrifying, right? Right, but you haven't seen Waterparks' new video for "Not Warriors," in which all the craziness somehow makes sense.

As the third single off of the Houston trio's sophomore album, Entertainment, "Not Warriors" is Waterparks at their absolute best—heartfelt, a little cheeky, and masterfully balancing their pop-punk roots with a dazzling hint of electro fun. The video follows suit, bringing every color imaginable to a head before a surprise, twisted ending featuring their song "Crybaby." A love like this, it seems, is maddening.
