the hardest goodbye.

by will jardell

Say it ain’t so! Tears will be shed.

Qnnyeonghaseyo, or hello in Korean! This country is amazing. I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to travel to Korea, and it’s my first time out of the country. Let me just tell you that I do not fit anywhere in this teeny tiny country. Feet hanging off the bed, shower head hitting me at my belly button, taking up two seats in a car, and ceilings made to keep giants out, this is definitely not a place for tall people. The food though, was great! We were able to travel around the market and explore all the different cuisine the country has to offer. Not going to lie, I didn’t like everything, but I did find some things that were amazing, especially the dumplings. Yum!

No time to waste, we jump off the plane and head straight to our first Korean challenge. BtoB, the K-Pop band, greeted us with some crazy dance moves to their new song. Immediately I knew exactly what was coming. A dance challenge. This is my chance to finally take the win! I was paired up with Raelia, Lenox, and Chantelle, while Shei was paired up with Keith and Adam. I took full control and put my dance teacher pants back on. I wanted my team to master the routine and beat the other group.

Final touches and it was time for our performance.

My group ends up going first and we were ready as we would ever be. Lenox still hadn’t mastered the choreography, but let’s admit it, she was cute as a button. During our solo parts, when the fashion photographer would be taking our picture, meant that was my time to shine. What do I do? A double pirouette with a fan kick. Don’t know what that is? Refer to Raelia talking about my twirl move. If you give me a dance challenge, I’m going to challenge you with my dancing, OK, boo? I was living in that moment. Chantelle brought her A-game for this challenge, which was remarkably similar to the challenge she won last week. Hmmmm. Lenox danced, or tried to. Raelia played up her hair and her perfect body moving to the music. Not to mention that incredible face of hers. So proud of my team, we came to win.

Next up we have Shei’s team. We weren’t able to see how they did when we filmed this shot but I now know how they really did. Keith gave us his ultra-sexy shimmy, or so he thinks. Shei looked great and showed off her go-go dancing skills. Adam reminds me of my dad dancing—No rhythm to save his life, but I will admit, he tried his best. And guess what? During his performance he did yet another flip and landed on his face! Maybe you should stop with the flips buddy. ;)

The fiercest dancer in the land is my bestie, Raelia Lewis! Cheers to you, goddess of all sexiness, you better go awf. Oh, and Happy Birthday Raelia, what a great way to spend your special day.

Back at the house we don’t waste any time getting settled in. Poppin’ bottles and celebrating our new home as well as Raelia’s birthday. Some people just can’t handle their liquor. Adam hasn’t stopped drinking since casting and since our 13-hour flight in Korea, he has been intoxicated. Slow down mister, you’re going to kill that liver!

MCM Worldwide, the Luxury brand, is our newest client for this photoshoot and I’m in love with each and every one of their bags. So excited to be able to do a photo-shoot for such a cool brand. Leaps and leaps, four leaps in and I get the shot. I do have to give my dance background credit for that, I wouldn’t have done so well if Mrs. Keely Jardell hadn’t taught me how to dance. Keith does the same pose as me making his a little less natural and more staged, something I am not a huge fan of. Lenox killed it. Adam was drunk so I doubt he remembers what exactly happened. Shei looked pretty good in her shot, but I’m not a huge fan of the angle. Raelia struggled a bit because she is too sexy for the MCM brand. The pose they put her in on the ground didn’t flatter her or the product. Sucked watching my girl struggle this week. Last but not least is “Miss Attitude,” Chantelle. We will definitely get the full force of her attitude in next episode but we were able to see a glimpse. Her face in the shot was really strong, the only thing that bothered me was her hands. Something about them made me think of a crab.

Time to lose another contestant. I will say that I am really proud of my shot. Kelly said that I had one of her favorite images of all the time she has been on the show. Like what? That made me feel absolutely incredible. Kelly Cutrone, the intense lady, liked my picture as one of her top favorites! #Blessed. Keith ended up also getting a perfect score for his shot. Well dangit! I really wanted best photo this week and the former football player took it right out of my hands. Lenox follows behind in third followed by Shei and Adam. Raelia and Chantelle end up in the bottom two, and I am already crying. We knew it was her time to go. Didn’t make that moment any easier. Her breakdown and goodbye was the hardest thing for me to experience on the show. Our friendship has blossomed over the last few weeks. I remember my first day on set, I met Raelia and the first thing I said to her was “We are going to be best friends.” The rest is history. I am so thankful that I was able to go through this experience with her. No matter what happens, she will always be the best thing that happened to me from this experience. Her last words? “Will, you better win this!” I am going to win this for you, boo. Just wait, I won’t give up. Good bye for now best friend.

Still alive! Top six are fighting for their lives as we go for the crown. Watch out!

Things are about to get crazy! So much drama and intense competition in next week’s episode. When you’re fighting for top five, all the claws come out! Be sure to tune in next Friday, November 14, for an all-new episode of America’s Next Top Model where the top six compete to stay in the competition at 9 p.m. (EST) on The CW.
