Jacob Tremblay Is More Lovable Than Ever In The ‘Wonder’ Trailer

From ‘Room’ to a young boy with a facial difference

Not in the mood to feel all the feelings today? Then you should probably click out of this story now because the trailer for Wonder will have you doing just that.

Based on the novel by R.J. Palacio, it tells the story of August Pullman, a little boy with a facial difference dealing with bullies at school. More than that, though, it’s about a brave 10-year-old who leaves a mark on his school and community by refusing to hide what he can’t change. “You can’t blend in when you were born to stand out,” a character tells him.

The plot itself will tear at even the coldest of heart strings, and it looks like Jacob Tremblay, who's playing Pullman, will give another commendable performance. If you recall, Tremblay is the same boy who played Jack opposite Brie Larson in Room, which he won a Critics Choice Award for back in 2016. Playing alongside Tremblay this go around are Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson, as his parents, and Daveed Diggs, as his encouraging teacher.

The film will arrive around the same time society usually finds comfort in feel-good stories like these: holiday season. More specifically, November 17.
