Bella Hadid's Mysterious New Brand Is An Essential-Oil-Based Fragrance Line
With Orebella, the model wants you to "reveal your alchemy."
Bella Hadid is ushering in a whole new era of holistic living with a brand new category in the beauty space — wellness fragrances.
On May 2, the supermodel is officially launching Orebella, a line of clean fragrances, featuring essential oil-forward scents. Capitalizing on the beauty industry’s growing skin care obsession, the line blurs the line between skin care and fragrance — all of the scents are alcohol-free and designed to be skin nourishing.
The scents come in a unique bi-phase form that requires shaking to mix and activate. The first layer contains moisturizing and hydrating skin care ingredients (Orebella’s proprietary blend of snow mushroom and oils, like olive, jojoba, and shea) that also works to enhance the scent’s longevity on the skin. The second layer “boosts mood and aura” with the blend of essential oil and fine fragrance notes. The brand’s tagline, “Reveal your alchemy,” refers to the way the scents will react on the skin, developing differently with every person’s specific body chemistry.
The New Fragrances
The three genderless scents are inspired by Hadid’s own memories and are meant to evoke nature and its healing benefits to elevate your skin and soul.
WINDOW2SOUL
Showcasing the notes of soft rose and jasmine, WINDOW2SOUL is Orebella’s most floral-forward fragrance. The sweet bouquet is rounded out with the tart, energizing scent of lemon, and dries down to warm tonka bean base notes.
SALTED MUSE
On first spritz, SALTED MUSE delivers — as promised with the name — notes of potent sea salt and pink pepper that will immediately turn your thoughts to the ocean. With some more dry down time, however the fragrance has an earthier heart, including lavender and amber.
BLOOMING FIRE
BLOOMING FIRE recalls a luxurious tropical vacation. With notes of the creamy and sweet Tahitian monoi flower and a strong element of patchouli, this fragrance will make you want to grab your bikini and head to the nearest beach, stat.
As for what’s to come next, a trademark application from 2022 for the name Orebella suggests a few clues to what other products might eventually be included in the new line. Under goods and services, the products listed in the trademark application include fragrances, scented lotions and oils for the body and face, scented shampoos, conditioners, and styling creams, air fragrance reed diffusers, and incense.
The first fragrance collection debuts in three sizes: 10 milliliters for $35, 50 for $72, and 100 for $100. Orebella fragrances will be available May 2 on orebella.com, exclusively, before becoming available at Ulta on May 10.
