The Best Met Gala Beauty Looks Were All About Excess

"Camp" may have been the most exciting theme yet

Arguably the most anticipated red carpet of the year is the Met Gala. And ever since 2019's theme, "Camp: Notes on Fashion," was announced this past October, we were certain that this year's big event was going to bring out some of the wildest and most outrageous looks we've seen in some time.

We were right. Tonight, was all about excess. From crystal-embellished and glitter-glazed eyelids, to gigantic hair and floor-length braids, to fantasy lashes of all sorts, the stars were nothing short of exaggerated—in the most glorious way possible.
