Bold Colors Ruled The Emmy's Red Carpet

Celebs opted for in-your-face hues and statement details

Tonight, the stars gathered to celebrate the best in television at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards. While the Emmys aren't typically known for the most interesting or groundbreaking red carpet fashion, tonight proved different—everyone went all out.

From Greta Lee's slime green getup to Julia Garner's vibrant violet gown, bold hues dotted the purple carpet; others stunned in sequins and metallics, such as Dominique Jackson and Natasha Lyonne. We also saw plenty of sculptural statement sleeves, red and pink worn together, and daring cutouts. However, we'd have to hand it over to Laverne Cox for absolutely slaying the carpet in a gigantic, sculptural gown and a clutch with a political message.

Below, feast your eyes on the most stunning looks of the evening.
