Make Getting Dressed Easy With These 16 Cute Boiler Suits

Clothing

For the lazy girls in all of us

It's summertime, and we're feeling, err... kinda lazy. Lucky for us, there's a simple, easy-to-wear trend here to make getting dressed a breeze on those particularly rough mornings: the boiler suit.

Seen all over the Spring 2019 runways—from Celine and Dries van Noten to Isabel Marant and Giambattista Valli—these utilitarian coveralls once served the sole purpose as workwear for factory workers before getting the high fashion treatment. Now, they take all the work out of attempting to put an outfit together. Throw one on and style it casually with a pair of flat sandals, or dress it up with heels or a chunky boot. The options are endless!

I know what you're thinking: What about the extremely hot temperatures and humid we're about to experience now that summer is here? Luckily, the boiler suit's equally as cute, shorts-bottomed counterpart—the playsuit—is also having a moment in the spotlight.

Below, feast your eyes on the must-have boiler suits and playsuits of the season.

It makes the whole uncanny valley thing even more uncanny

Early critiques of The Lion King have already noted the uncanny valley aspect of the computer-generated animals, and they are not wrong. It's hugely distracting—and the addition of an A-list cast voicing those animals makes it even worse.

We talk to the stars and creator about the show's iconic first season

Veronica Mars is a show that's had more than nine lives over the course of its 15-year run. What began as a teen drama about a young girl-turned-private investigator digging into the mystery of her best friend's murder, has evolved into a universe filled with complex characters, twisting story lines, and a cult following more than happy to go along for the extended ride.

Winchester's Black students got jokes
