Bretman Rock's Wet N Wild Collab Is Affordable and Colorful

Thanks to an upcoming collaboration between beauty YouTuber Bretman Rock and Wet n Wild, summer has arrived a little early. After announcing the collection with a short teaser video, Rock has finally revealed what products will be included in the Feb. 15 launch.

Sharing further details of his collection with Instagram, Rock wrote, "Introducing the Bretman Rock x @wetnwildbeauty Jungle Rock Collection coming 02.15.20. An Eyeshadow Pallet, MASCARA, Brush Set, 3 Lip glosses, Highlighter pair, Setting Spray and did I say Mascara yet ?" Items will be available at 20,000 Ulta stores nationwide, and through online retailers including Target, Ulta, Amazon, and Wet n Wild.

True to its Jungle Rock name, the items included in Rock's collection give off major tropical vibes, with packaging that includes colorful floral prints and palm leaves. In keeping with the accessibility and affordability of the Wet n Wild brand, products range in price from $4.99 to $14.99.

Highlights of the collaboration include a 3-in-1 Face Mist ($7.99) that can be used to prep, hydrate, or set the skin; a loose highlighting duo ($7.99); three shades of sheer lip gloss ($4.99); and three makeup brushes ($6.99 - $7.99) for blending and perfecting your look. At the center of the collection is a 15-pan eye shadow palette ($14.99) that features colors in matte and shimmer finishes.

According to a previous Instagram post from Rock, the collaboration is dedicated to a special group of people — his fans. "This collection is my love letter to the beauty community...you mean more to me than you know b*tch," he wrote alongside a teaser video. Naturally, the beauty community has responded in kind, with fans writing, "I can appreciate a collaboration with a great affordable brand" and "So excited to get this collection...especially the mascara."

As NYLON previously reported, this isn't the first time the beauty YouTuber has created his own collection. Back in 2018, he collaborated with ColourPop, creating a line inspired by his heritage. The Bretman Rock x ColourPop line featured two parts, Refinery29 reported, and was intended to showcase Rock's love for makeup and represent his Filipino culture.
