Cardi B Wore Fall’s Biggest Makeup Trend To Rihanna’s Diamond Ball

Last night celebs descended upon Manhattan's Cipriani for Rihanna's famed Diamond Ball, an annual event that raises money for her nonprofit organization, the Clara Lionel Foundation, which benefits impoverished communities around the globe. Some of our favorite artists were in attendance, including Cardi B, who stepped out in fall's most popular makeup hue: pink. The "Press" rapper sported a shimmery pink eye and a blinding, pink highlight—the look tied together with a nude pink-brown lip. She even sported pink nails, opting for a simple, solid-colored set.

The makeup look also incorporates another makeup trend—monochrome—with Cardi matching her makeup look to her tiered, pink gown. The beat comes courtesy of longtime makeup artist Erika La Pearl, who offered up a closer look in an Instagram post.

This isn't the first time we've seen Cardi turn a showstopping look for the event. In 2017, she looked like a real-life Cinderellla in a custom blue Christian Siriano gown at the event, so this sort of feels like Cardi-the-princess 2.0. In other words: we're living for it.
