Cardi B performed at Real Street Festival in Anaheim, California, over the weekend, and while many buzzed about A$AP's return to public life, I was more preoccupied with Cardi's ombré box braids. It perfectly combines everything good about summer hair—it's vibrant, scene-stealing (the braids go past the singer's tailbone), and protective all at once.
The "Press" rapper offered a closer look at the braided style on social media, posting a photo, captioned "I can't swim so I bought these titties so I can float," and it's peak Cardi B. Her head is tilted, giving us the full effect of her mermaid-colored braids and her hands are artfully placed, showing off her complementary cobalt blue manicure.
If this alone wasn't enough to snatch whatever edges you had left, a tagged photo of the look revealed that the braids are actually a full-lace wig, courtesy of Tresses x Sandrine, which has created wigs for Cardi in the past.
