Kristen Stewart, Kirsten Dunst, & Beyoncé Receive Oscar Nods
Here’s the full list of 2022 Oscar nominations.
The 2022 Oscar nominations are here, announced by Leslie Jordan and Tracee Ellis Ross on Tuesday morning. As always, there were both snubs and surprises to be discussed — and certainly a few worth celebrating.
Kristen Stewart, recently snubbed at the SAG Awards, received a Best Lead Actress nod for her role as Princess Diana in Spencer, while Kirsten Dunst is also up for a long-awaited Oscar, for Best Supporting Actress in Jane Campion’s The Power Of The Dog (her husband, Jesse Plemmons, is also up for the Netflix drama).
Both Beyoncé and Billie Eilish received nominations, for their work on King Richard and No Time To Die, respectively. Alana Haim (Licorice Pizza) and Lady Gaga (House Of Gucci) were notably absent from the list.
The 94th annual Academy Awards will be on March 27 at Hollywood’s Dolby Theater. The in-person event will be televised on ABC, and for the first time in three years, will have a yet-to-be-announced host.
