Aly & AJ Tease New Record With “Symptom Of Your Touch”

The nostalgia industrial complex never sleeps, but when it comes to sisters and musicians Aly & AJ, we’re thankful for it. The pop duo is set to return with their highly anticipated new record 'a touch of the beat gets you up on your feet gets you out and then into the sun' on May 7, and are treating fans to a preview with a new track, “Symptom Of Your Touch.”

Ramped up with pristine, throwback synth production and an earworm hook, the track bodes promising for the sisters’ new era — dancing your heart out is very much on the horizon.

The duo is naturally amped for the release of 'a touch of the beat gets you up on your feet gets you out and then into the sun.’ The sisters waxed poetic about the record in an Instagram post, in which Aly referred to it as “the record we were born to make;” AJ said it will be “how you’d think of California if you were thinking of California as a melody.”

"There's something really great about flying under the radar for a really long time," AJ said to NYLON back in 2019. "Because, when you're above the radar really quickly, you fizzle out fast. As long as we soar and keep elevating as much as we can, we're good."
