When the queen behind a clothing empire (and NYLONshop vet) teams up with a social media It Girl, you know it’s going to be a match made in heaven. Victoria Velasquez is the brains behind Petals and Peacocks, a NYLONshop favorite for their witty and sassy play on wardrobe basics. She teamed up with Mandee Bence, a face you’ve probably seen frequent your Instagram feed, to create a no-frills line of intimates you can live in based on the fact that girls don’t need lacey, padded bras to be sexy. They designed their line with girls of all sizes in mind.
Chonies’ first collection includes a mix of basics and quirky items, from ribbed grey briefs to ghost-print sports bras that speak to the Snapchat addict in all of us. These laid-back, comfy takes on intimates are the perfect undergarments, but we can’t deny that they double as the cutest layering pieces.
