Ray-Ban Brought Wearable Tech To Coachella

With Stories, Ray-Ban is elevating the next generation of smart style.

As a sponsor of 2022 Coachella, iconic eyewear line Ray-Ban brought wearable tech to the annual music festival with its first generation of smart glasses, Ray-Ban Stories. The brand helped kick off the weekend (and festival season in general) with an immersive activation featuring a limited-edition run of its new smart glasses.

Coachella guests, including Chlöe Bailey and Euphoria’s Angus Cloud, stopped by the brand’s tent to try out the glasses, which have some truly mind-bending features, like being able to take instant photos and video (up to 30 seconds) and a built-in Bluetooth and 3-microphone audio array — meaning you can listen to music, podcasts, or take calls, all from the glasses.

Stories also let you share the content you capture with the glasses via any social media app. And lest you think tech compromises style, Stories look just like the classic Wayfarer style that Ray-Ban has been known for since the ‘50s.

Only 2022 pairs of these limited-edition Stories were made. They come in blue frames with orange lenses, meant to mimic the desert’s summer-festival skies.
Ray-Ban Stories can be found at select Ray-Ban Stores, Ray-Ban.com, Ray-Ban’s Instagram Shop, and Sunglass Hut’s website for $299.The main Ray-Ban Stories collection is also available starting from $299 at Best Buy and Amazon.Ray-Ban
