Dua Lipa’s first campaign for Puma is finally here. The singer was announced as the brand’s new global ambassador back in November, and now she’s here modeling the “Mayze,” a platform sneaker.

“I’m excited to begin my journey with my Puma family — and I am so happy to share some of the first images from my very first solo campaign with the brand,” Lipa tells NYLON. “It was shot by the legend Mario Sorrenti. Puma have been very collaborative and open as partners. I’m really excited to map out the next few projects with them.”

On the red carpet, Lipa is known for her glittering glamour, but she’s still a fan of activewear in her everyday life, relying on comfortable staples when she’s lounging around or busy at work during rehearsals.

“It’s become such a staple, especially over lockdown,” she says. “I do still love to get dressed up, and throwing a pair of sneakers on with a cute outfit means I can dance the night away.”

Lipa has slowly been previewing her multiyear partnership with Puma on social media, wearing the brand in photos that she’s posted on Instagram to her 64.1 million followers.

“We have been working so hard behind the scenes and I can’t wait to share with you some exciting projects,” Lipa adds. “Watch this space!”

The “Mayze” sneaker, which retails for $90, will launch on Puma’s website, at the Puma flagship store in New York City, and select retailers on Friday, April 16. Check out photos of Dua Lipa and the new shoe, below.
