J. Lo Closed Out The Versace Runway Show Wearing *That* Iconic Dress
We are collectively deceased
I think it's safe to say that Donatella Versace knows how to put on a runway show. Earlier this afternoon in Milan, she presented her Spring 2020 collection — and was sure to close it out with a bang.
This season, rather than a gaggle of '90s supermodels, Versace opted for none other than Jennifer Lopez to take one final strut down the catwalk, wearing the palm-print, plunging gown she wore to the 2000 Grammys. You know, the dress that casually created Google Image Search and instantly became the most iconic fashion moment of the early aughts.
Okay, fine, it's not the exact dress she wore on the Grammys red carpet, but it's almost identical. While the original gown featured sheer long sleeves, this new iteration is sleeveless. However, best believe today's version still includes the same jaw-dropping plunging neckline that made headlines way back when.
May we add that, while two decades have passed since the original gown was worn, Lopez looks… exactly the same.
Forget the rest of the Milan shows... and Paris, too. This was the only fashion month content we needed to see! Also, if you haven't seen "Hustlers" yet, we suggest that you get yourself to the nearest movie theater ASAP.
