It’s no surprise that the iconic flea market’s return brought out a very stylish crowd.
Since shutting down in March 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic (and for the first time in its history), Rose Bowl Flea Market finally reopened on Sunday, April 11, after more than a year of closure and pivoting online in partnership with Free People.
Now, the iconic outdoor market is back and better than ever, taking over the famous Pasadena stadium in Southern California with more than than 15,000 vendors. Shoppers arrived as early as 5 a.m. to take advantage of its VIP hours, and to be among the first to browse some of the rarest, most sought-after secondhand clothing, antique furniture, collectibles, and more.
The vintage shopping scene in Los Angeles is one of the best in the country, so it’s no surprise that the Rose Bowl Flea Market’s return brought a very stylish crowd hoping to snag some cool, one-of-a-kind finds. From statement pants and sneakers to bra tops and sun hats (which we’ve now learned is a flea market style essential), the outfits we spotted over the weekend have given us enough fashion inspiration to last us through the summer and beyond.
Ahead, see more of our favorite street style looks from the Rose Bowl Flea Market.
The Rose Bowl Flea Market is held on the second Sunday of every month. Find out more about future dates here.
