'Marriage Story' Leads 2020 Golden Globes With 6 Nominations

Awards season is upon us, and on Monday, the 2020 Golden Globes nominations arrived with plenty of surprises. Noah Baumbach's Marriage Story, starring Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson, leads the nominations with six nods; Martin Scorsese's The Irishman follows closely with five. When it comes to television, Game of Thronesis somehow still at it, though it scored only one nomination — Kit Harington has one more chance to take home Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama for his time playing Jon Snow. HBO's Chernobyl, along with Netflix series The Crown and Unbelievable, lead TV noms with four each.
