Jessica Simpson might have just achieved peak Legally Blonde fashion during a stop on her publicity tour for her new memoir, Open Book. As Simpson was spotted in New York City on Tuesday, she was serving full-on Elle Woods in head-to-toe hot pink. All she needs is a tiny pooch to sit snug in her bag to really put the look over the top.
Simpson layered on different shades of the eye-catching hue, from bubblegum to a nearly raspberry, to achieve a dimensional ensemble. Underneath her shiny, fur-trimmed trench, she appears to be wearing a floral jumpsuit from Staud, which is still available for purchase at $345, along with oversized, retro-sized sunnies from Gucci (currently on sale!), a large tote from Alexander McQueen, and Saint Laurent pumps. Her stylist Nicole Chavez posted all of the outfit details and designer credits to her Instagram, including Simpson's pink trench, which happens to be from Danish brand Saks Potts design. The coat retails for $1,799 and — unfortunately — made with real fox fur and lamb leather.
