“The xhale club rooftop was our go-to spot for soaking up the sun and unwinding, but when we wanted to turn up the energy, we headed to the xcelerate pool,” Lex shares. “There was no shortage of fun music and incredible one-of-a-kind shows, like electric violinists.”

More of a veg-out-on-the-beach girlie? You’re in luck. The resort’s beachfront is the ideal spot to sprawl out on a lounge chair beside the ocean and enjoy the all-encompassing service, or become one with the sea on a paddle board or kayak. 2. Build Up Your Restaurant Roster

There’s 10 (yes, 10) trendy restaurants right at the resort, which gives you endless chances to break out your most show off-worthy ‘fits. And while you should undoubtably try them all, some of Lex’s favs include Fishnets and Silk City (known for being the tallest restaurant in the hotel zone). “Fishnets was a great spot for some fresh seafood, but the highlight was definitely the hibachi experience at Silk City with its breathtaking 180-degree view of Cancun.”

For Waikei, Asado Night took the top spot: “The resort’s outdoor beach deck turned into a BBQ buffet. As soon as the sun went down, there were charcoal grills going with so many food choices and live music — the energy was just buzzing.”

When you can’t eat any more, do late night right by heading to After Dark, the onsite nightclub that’s a personal fave of both influencers.

“[After Dark] was so much fun and meant we didn’t even have to leave the property for a great night out,” Lex shares. “The DJ played the best music and everyone was just vibing.”

3. Fit In A Spa Day (Or Two)

Waikei and Lex both took advantage of the world-class spa on resort grounds, experiencing a swirling hydrotherapy circuit (ft. a perfectly refreshing cold plunge), sauna, and steam room, along with a full-service salon, and bar offering freshly squeezed juices and beverages. But for Waikei, the thing that set the spa apart was the view: “Visiting the sauna with its ocean view is an absolute must — I’ve never seen anything like it. There’s something about being in a sauna and seeing out to the sun, water, and palm trees. Words can’t even describe the peace I felt in that moment.”

For Lex’s part, the sheer size of the space made an impact: “The spa was absolutely mind-blowing. I’ve never been in a couples massage room that big and luxurious — it was larger than my New York apartment!”

4. Top It Off With Something Unforgettable

“It was so unique to have a private bartender while we painted the stunning sunset,” Lex recounts. “This was probably our favorite activity — we loved our paintings so much that we took them home with us!”

“The chef prepared a custom menu for us, including my favorite dessert, lemon tarts, in seven different ways — it was the most incredible, personalized touch,” Lex gushes. “Breathless really caters to every kind of traveler, but for someone like me who loves balance, it was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.”
