The Wedding Edit features bridal and event pieces, including 30 bespoke collections and 250 unique items from designers like Christopher Kane, Erdem, Molly Goddard, Giles, Stephen Jones, and more.
"Imagine a bride walking down a beach in that beautiful chainmail shift dress, or wearing the shirt with a great pair of trousers," Christopher Kane told MATCHESFASHION about the label's first bridal collection, with his sister, Tammy Kane, adding, "Or denim shorts? We loved the idea of doing something bridal from our standpoint, that would be different than anything else on the market. It's very Christopher Kane."
As for Tammy, who's been with her partner for 17 years and engaged for 10, she stands firm in declaring that she treated the debut bridal collection as she has every other.
"I do the same as I do for every collection: look at the pieces and think about what I want, what I'm feeling like, what I want to be wearing right now," she said. "A lot of the pieces in this collection are derivative of collections we've done in the past."
The Wedding Edit is almost guaranteed to have something for each kind of bride, from classic, feminie gowns to chainmail mini-dresses to every accessory in between. Every bride's wallet is in our thoughts today.
