See The Trailer For Netflix's New Competition Show 'Next In Fashion'

Hosted by Tan France and Alexa Chung

by Erika Harwood

Netflix's answer to Project Runway officially has a trailer. Next In Fashion, hosted by Queer Eye's Tan France and style icon/fashion designer Alexa Chung, is bringing together designers to showcase their talents to win $250,000, as well as have the chance to sell their designs on Net-a-Porter. Similarly to Project Runway, the designers will face off in different challenges over the 10 episodes, showcasing their work on a runway and judged by a slew of industry insiders.

The show's roster of guest judges range from fashion designers and personalities to models and stylists: Eva Chen, Monique Lhuillier, Prabal Gurung, Phillip Lim, Jason Bolden, Kerby Jean-Raymond, Adriana Lima, Christopher Kane, Beth Ditto, "Dao"- Yi Chow, Maxwell Osborne, Tommy Hilfiger, and more.

The contestants aren't newbies to the industry, though. The show describes them as "some of the world's best and quietly innovative designers who compete for a chance to become the next big name in fashion." They've been working in fashion for years, with one having helped launch Apple Bottom Jeans and another who worked alongside Stella McCartney and Alexander Wang. The show is hoping to propel the winner into household-name territory in the fashion world.
