Willa Fitzgerald Takes Us Inside Louis Vuitton’s Housewarming Party

The actress shares her photo dump of the night, featuring LV luggage trunks big and small.

by Lauren McCarthy

The theme of the night was moving. On the evening of Nov. 14, Louis Vuitton threw a housewarming party to celebrate the new temporary location of its Fifth Avenue flagship store, which is about to under-go a multi-year transformation. (During its years of hibernation, the store will still be unmissable, with the 16-story, 240-foot tall façade fully encapsulated in the form of six stacked hard-sided LV-embossed trunks).

Temporary or not, the house still went all out in crafting the new space, located just across the original location on 57th Street. Those very iconic Louis Vuitton trunks welcome you to the five-story experience, with sky-high stacks populating the first floor. From there, you could travel up the maze of each floor, where some of the brand’s greatest hits (the Supreme collaboration, Murakami galore) were showcased along the way. Among the new store’s crown jewels: the American debut of a Louis Vuitton café, chocolate shop, and new global culinary concept.

On hand to fete the new store were a number of famous friends of the house, including Ana de Armas, Bradley Cooper, Nina Dobrev, Ella Hunt, and Willa Fitzgerald, star of this year’s best thriller Strange Darling. Here, the actress takes NYLON along for her night with LV.
