Allie Rowbottom is the author of the novel Aesthetica, published in November 2022 by Soho Press and named a best book of 2022 by Glamour Magazine, NPR and Vanity Fair. Allie's memoir, Jell-O Girls, was a 2018 New York Times Editors' Choice. Her essays and short fiction can be found in Elle, Vanity Fair, Flaunt, Dazed, Alta, New York Tyrant, The Drunken Canal, Forever Mag and elsewhere. She holds a PhD in literature from the University of Houston and lives in Los Angeles.
