Prep For The Women's March With This New Music Video

ROZES premieres the visuals to "Halfway There"

by Allison Stubblebine

The anthem for the January 2019 Women's March now has powerful visuals to accompany it. Today, ROZES premieres her video for "Halfway There," exclusively on NYLON.

Aside from the clear emotion evoked in the song's lyrics, the casting and location of the video are equally meaningful. Standing around ROZES' piano are her grandmother, mom, aunt, and two best friends, multiple generations of women who made ROZES who she is. Among the various other incredible women is pro MMA fighter Jaime Colleen, throwing punches in the gym seen in Creed. Colleen's daughter is included as well.

"This video is so special to me because it includes so many strong women, including every important influential woman in my life," ROZES told NYLON. "I am honored and humbled by these individuals. Each woman has their own story of struggle and triumph as a woman. Each has their own fight. But together we stand, and empowered we are."
