Sophie Turner's BBMA Look Is Giving Us Serious Bowie-Meets-Zenon Vibes

Before Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner became a newlywed, she rocked probably the best jumpsuit of all time on the 2019 Billboard Music Awards red carpet. I'm getting serious David Bowie vibes, and I'm not complaining one bit.

Turner's choice for the red carpet was a Louis Vuitton metallic silver jumpsuit with a jewel-toned botanical print. While we're obsessed with the entire look, our favorite part has to be the high neck and the shoulders, with architectural sleeves that bulged out. I'm now convinced this will be the future of shoulder pads.

I'm thinking that the mood board for her look was definitely full of Bowie's iconic outfits, and maybe also took direction from Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century. She paired the jumpsuit with some understated black heels and a black belt, and left her hair straight with a center part, probably to keep all eyes on the jumpsuit.

Before she and Joe Jonas got hitched, Turner changed into something whiter and more bridal, but I selfishly wish that she would have broken wedding tradition and worn this.
