Brand Partnerships Manager or Director, Sales

New York

Here at NYLON we are looking for a Brand Partnerships Director and Manager to join our Brand Partnerships Team in NYC. You'll build and manage partnerships with brands and agencies to help them expand their digital presence with NYLON. You'll need great presentation and people skills, the ability to manage many projects at once, and a deep understanding of the digital advertising world. Most importantly we are looking for an energetic self-starter with a passionate and consultative approach to sales.

What you'll do:

Senior Media Strategist

New York

For nearly two decades, NYLON's mission has been to celebrate the risk takers and rule breakers of today and tomorrow! We celebrate those who are pushing the boundaries to define the look, sound and culture of our world. NYLON is looking for a Senior Media Strategist for the New York City office. This position will be responsible for both creating media plans and executing sold media campaigns, working closely with the Media/Sales Strategy Director, Marketing, Ad Ops, Brand Partnerships, Editorial, Influencer Marketing and Finance teams. There will be the opportunity to also exercise creative thinking through collaborative brainstorms. The Strategist is ultimately responsible for orchestrating internal resources to ensure campaign expectations and contractual obligations are met for NYLON’s advertiser/agency partners.

What you'll do:

  • Manage all media aspects of the pre and post-sale campaign from media plan creation to implementation to data analytics
  • Develop media strategies to deliver on client goals and KPIs that brings the program concept to life
  • Be a product expert with the ability to advise on all of our offerings
  • Conduct introductory Kick of Calls in conjunction with the Marketing team and manage campaign performance communication for all campaigns to understand campaign KPIs, communicate contracted deliverables and progress towards customers’ goals and provide optimization recommendations
  • Collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to manage timelines, relay client feedback and help maximize the performance of our media to complement the custom content
  • Work closely with Ad Ops to facilitate creative implementation, execution and campaign delivery
  • Execute FB/IG ad campaigns through Ads Manager
  • Build customer relationships and provide excellent customer service while acting as day-to-day point of contact during post-sales cycle
  • Analyze performance of campaigns with Ad Ops to ensure KPIs are achieved and optimized against, while being able to troubleshoot any roadblocks
  • Communicate performance metrics achieved at the end of each campaign by building wrap reports with insights and implications that are submitted to clients post campaign to help Brand Partnerships gain repeat business
  • Coordinate with our design team and rich media vendors to facilitate the design and build of rich media ad units
  • Facilitate campaign billing and actualizations
  • Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with the various business units listed above to ensure growth attainment

What we're looking for:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years digital media, account management, media planning, or relevant agency experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship management abilities
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually, as needed
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to multitask and hit deadlines
  • Tenacious and proven ability to execute and optimize media campaigns
  • Analytical mind and problem solver
  • Must be proficient in MACs and Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital media platforms (DFP/GAM, Google Analytics, comScore, FB Ads Manager, etc)
