We went to the inaugural Vegan Fashion Week, which took place this past weekend in Los Angeles, and it's easy to see how vegan fashion is the future of the industry. Chris Allen, the founder of Mistohn, says Vegan Fashion Week will act as a push to make the entire fashion industry cruelty-free. "For cruelty-free fashion, I'd like to see that label transcend into just fashion across the board," he says. "It's very important to start somewhere." We talk to some of the designers and show you what went down behind the scenes and on the runway, above.
