Here’s Your First Look At Finn Wolfhard’s Movie Starring Vanessa Hudgens

Hot off the heels of his band's debut single and the immense success of the IT remake, Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard returns to the silver screen this summer as a boy on a mission to find a dog.

The movie in question is called Dog Days. It's from actor-director Ken Marino and additionally stars Nina Dobrev, Adam Pally, Eva Longoria, and Miss Coachella herself, Vanessa Hudgens. The first trailer doesn't leave much to the imagination. This movie is literally about dogs, their owners, and lofty questions like, "What is it about dogs that brings us so much joy?" You know what? I don't know, and honestly? That's not a question I think needs answering because puppies and doggos make the world a better place. Full stop.

That said, there has to be some sort of drama to keep Dog Days from being a cluster-you-know-what of pretty people loving their canines. Looks like someone steals a dog and puts said dog in a competition while the original owner searches high and low for it. That's where Wolfhard comes in because if anyone is more equipped to find a dog, it's the fella who has ventured into and survived the Upside Down. 

Dog Days hits theaters this August.
