Fenty Beauty’s Holiday Collection Brings Your Outer Space Makeup Dreams To Life
And these products have the best names ever
The world basically stopped turning when Rihanna launched her full line of cosmetics, Fenty Beauty, last month. With an extensive offering featuring everything from glimmering highlighter sticks to a whopping 40-shade foundation range, the first drop focused heavily on creating what Rihanna calls the “Fenty Face,” and features products that worked to create a flawless complexion.
As we quickly fell in love with the full Fenty Beauty line, we couldn’t help but want more: lip colors other than the one universal gloss, eyeshadow palettes, liners, you name it. While rumors began to circulate about the holiday collection, we were excited to see what the Fenty Beauty lab was cooking up—and, luckily, our expectations have been exceeded. Fenty Beauty: The Galaxy Collection is coming our way this week, a holiday gift Queen RiRi is blessing us with early.
After much speculation on whether we could expect a more expansive Fenty Beauty lip collection, it’s finally confirmed: We’re getting eight different shades. There will be four Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitters in glitzy hues ranging from holographic hot pink to sparkling garnet. We’re also getting four Starlit Hyper-Glitz Lipsticks, which are exactly what they sound like: glitter-drenched micro-shimmer lipsticks in a similar shade range as the glosses. Both the glosses and lipsticks will retail for $19 each.
Next comes the Eclipse 2-in-1 Glitter Release Eyeliner, a shimmering metallic liquid liner that releases a surprise glitter effect when rubbed. It’s basically magic. Available in three different shades for $20 a pop, our favorite would have to be Nepturnt, a glittering greenish-black liner with smoky emerald glitter finish.
The star of the group? An intergalactic eyeshadow palette featuring 14 glimmering shades of perfection—from sheer, shimmery topcoats for your lids to hyper-pigmented glitter bombs—for $59. With shades such as Ultraviolit (see what she did there?) and Xtra Terrestrial, it’s sure to join the ranks of other cult-favorite palettes. To go along with the palette comes the $24 Galaxy 2-Way Eyeshadow Brush, a dual-ended brush created specifically for the palette that features both smudging and blending tools, perfect for picking up and layering on glittery shades.
