‘The Haunting Of Hill House’ Trailer is Getting Us Excited for Halloween
Get the candy, it’s almost time to binge this spooky series!
The debut trailer for Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House is giving us all of the spooky vibes.
Based on the gothic horror novel by Shirley Jackson of the same name, the series will tell the story of a family who grew up in a haunted house, Hill House, and the effect it has on their psyche. Forced to return as adults, the family has to deal with tragic issues from their past and ghosts that creep through the shadows of the house’s dark hallways. "What if I dream that you sent us away into the dark and we get hurt?" one of the children in the trailer ask their mom. "What if I'm so sad and scared of the dark out there that I put poison in me for years and years until my blood turns into poison?"
This is creator Mike Flanagan's first television series for the streaming service. His other projects include Hush, Oculus and Ouija: Origin of Evil, and Gerald’s Game. It seems he's bringing the same creepy flare he's become known for to The Haunting of Hill House.
The series arrives to Netflix on October 15, just in time to add it to your horror lineup for Halloween. If the trailer is any indication of how scary the show will be, you might want to watch it with a light on.
