This Hello Kitty Collection Tops All Other Hello Kitty Collections This Year

Are you obsessed with Sanrio? So are we. While the animated bunch has been featured on some amazing collabs this past year, from Fila to ASOS, we have to say that our new favorite (since we can't play favorites with our own collab) would have to be its latest capsule collection with PINKO. It’s a Kawaii-pink dream in the form of athleisure, meaning it’s the coziest Sanrio collection of the year. Way to end the year with a bang, right?

Here Hello Kitty is the star of the show, being she is the only Sanrio character featured in the capsule. This collection is athleisure at its finest, with sweats, t-shirts, and hoodies galore. But don’t mistake the pieces for sleepwear. While they’re definitely lounging material, you’ll also want to wear these out, whether it be to work or your next holiday party.

Inspiration for this collection was drawn from Japanese street culture, which continues to make an impact Stateside as well. The lighter, pastel pinks and whites dominate the lineup, but the collection isn’t afraid to unleash Hello Kitty’s glam-rock side—rockstar Kitty graphics, use of red and black, and tough girl shoulder cutouts are used to show off the not-so-sweet side of this beloved character.
