Lizzo, Honne, Frankie Cosmos, + many more

by nylon

Every weekend, we bring you #SOUNDCHECK—your new destination for the best of the best new music that hit the web over the course of the week. Because you should always be prepared when someone passes you that AUX cord. This week’s round features 10 of our favorite emerging and established artists including Lizzo, HONNE, and so many more. Turn up, tune in, and tune out.

"Fitness" - Lizzo

Lizzo's newest song and video has singlehandedly cleared our skin, filed our taxes, and extended our life by years. "Fitness" is the self-love declaration of the year, with our new clap back to anyone who comes for our mind, body, and soul: "I don't do this for you!"

"Lose Myself" - Post Precious

Imagine going to some witchy California party on a palm tree farm. That's what Post Precious' latest sounds like, and it's divine.

"Jesse" - Frankie Cosmos

Frankie Cosmos' latest is a gentle ode to all you ASMR fanatics out there.

"Better With You" - Michl

Michl's Mura Masa-produced indie electro gem is perfect for any kickbacks you've got planned for this weekend.

"Blaze Of Glory" - Anna Lunoe

Anna Lunoe's video for "Blaze Of Glory" bursts with color and a sense of ease that comes with an artist of her caliber at the top of her game. If sweater envy is a thing, we have it in spades.

"I Don't Want To Know" - Sigrid

Sigrid's second release off her forthcoming project takes the ballad route and shines in its honesty. We've all been through a relationship like this. Here, Sigrid puts it into words we all wish we had.

"Day 1" - HONNE

HONNE is back! The duo's forthcoming sophomore release will be out later this year, and the indie pop duo has blessed us with not just one, but two new tracks off the record. Let "Day 1" whisk you away to everlasting pop bliss.

"I Won't" - Alexander Vincent

Fans may know Alexander Vincent from the band Magic!. This is not Magic!. Instead, Vincent flexes a strong electronic production that drives forward with juuuuust a dash of sadness. It's a stunning cocktail of sound and pathos. Vincent's solo stuff is a total unexpected joy.

"Song For You (Jacques Greene Remix) - Rhye

Blessed be the minds of Jacques Greene and Rhye's Milosh. Greene transforms Rhye's melancholic Blood track into a milky synth joyride into the stars.

My Dear Melancholy, - The Weeknd

Well, Abel's back on his sad boi bullshit and pulling his sound deeper into sinister depths, thanks in part to French DJ Gesaffelstein. Read into the lyrics of each of these six songs how you wish. This surprise EP isn't pushing any buttons, but it certainly sounds great.
