Following its first quarterly release earlier this year, the global fashion shopping platform Lyst just dropped a new report for the second quarter on Wednesday, July 27.
The 2022 Q2 Lyst Index report ranks fashion’s biggest designers and products from April to June, and the industry’s hottest names have switched around quite a bit in the ranks. Tap to see which fashion brands landed in the top 10 spots, ahead.
Burberry has risen to the No. 10 spot, having since dropped its coveted collaboration with Supreme. The brand also dressed Nicki Minaj, Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell, and more for the 2022 Met Gala.
After becoming the fastest-growing brand last quarter, Diesel still remains a favorite for its denim pieces, micro-mini skirts, and buzzy bags among stars like Dua Lipa, Kylie Jenner, and Julia Fox.
Fendi comes in the No. 8 spot, after dropping its sought-after Fendace collection in May. Soon after, the Milan-based brand presented its Spring 2023 men’s collection and inked a two-year deal with Italian football club AS Roma.
Miu Miu ranks seventh, with much buzz coming from its muse Sydney Sweeney, who stars in the recent Fall 2022 and Wander bag campaigns. The brand has also partnered with filmmaker Baz Luhrmann to create costumes for the new movie Elvis.
At No. 6, Dior has ramped things up this year. So far, the Parisian label has launched a cozy collaboration with Birkenstock while Blackpink’s Jisoo continues to show her affinity for the brand as its ambassador.
Louis Vuitton is fiftht, making headlines for its celebrity-studded Cruise 2023 show in San Diego and paying homage to the late Virgil Abloh in its Spring 2023 menswear show in Paris.
Coming in at No. 4, Valentino has spearheaded the #Barbiecore trend with its Fall 2022 “Pink PP” collection, worn by a slew of celebs on the red carpet, music festival circuit, front row, and beyond.
Prada rose to the third spot, following the buzz from collaboration with Cassius Hirst on a limited-edition sneaker collaboration, a new campaign starring Euphoria star Hunter Schafer, and even dipping into the metaverse.
Balenciaga follows in second and has been busy in the celebrity spotlight with fans like Kim Kardashian, Alexa Demie, and more. Its Spring 2023 show in May was also one of the most talked-about fashion events this year so far.
Gucci rose from its recent second place spot to the very top this time around, thanks to its coveted collab with Adidas back in June and teaming up with Harry Styles for a surprise joint collection, too.
