Kacey Musgraves In This Multi-Colored Pastel Pantsuit Is The Only Thing I Care About

Saddle the fuck up

The year of the horse girl is in full swing—just ask Kacey Musgraves. The singer attended the Academy of Country Music Awards last night (and proceeded to take home awards for both Album of the Year as well as Female Vocalist of the Year) wearing a dreamy flared pastel colored pantsuit.

Her jacket first starts out light blue, and fades into a pastel pink toward the bottom, which continues onto her pants. (Interestingly, the colors are a bit reminiscent of those being used by Jenny Lewis in her On the Line era era.) The bottom of her wide-legged pants then sees the baby pink shade transform into mint green. I was never a country person until Musgraves, and I wasn't an ombré one until now either. The outfit is a delightful cotton candy, Easter egg combination that's made even better by the singer's choice to forego wearing a shirt underneath her blazer.

The outfit is actually from Christian Cowan's collection inspired by The Powerpuff Girls. Cowan said about the collaboration back in February: "I am thrilled to be partnering with such an iconic brand whose message is about supporting one another and kicking butt no matter your age, size, or gender." Sounds pretty fitting.
